The Editorial Board of the International Seminar on Syariah and Law (INSLA) is pleased to present Volume 2, Number 1 (2019), specifically featuring the "International Seminar on Syariah and Law (INSLA) 2018 Reports." Published as a vital record of the preceding year’s scholarly convening, this issue continues our mission to provide a reputable platform for high-quality scholarship and academic documentation in Syariah and legal studies. Since its establishment in 2010 by the Faculty of Syariah and Law (FSU), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), INSLA has remained a key platform for exploring contemporary debates and applied legal issues relevant to both Islamic and civil legal systems. Now available online through our Open Journal Systems (OJS) to enhance global visibility, INSLA E-Proceedings continues to grow in reach and impact, showcasing contributions and formal proceedings from diverse academic institutions and jurisdictions. The reports and works presented in this issue reflect critical thought, scholarly rigour, and a deep engagement with the evolving legal landscape.
