Aims and Scopes
Syariah and Law Discourse (DSL) Proceedings is the official platform for publishing selected papers from the International Seminar on Syariah and Law (INSLA) and other academic conferences organised by the Faculty of Syariah and Law (FSU), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). Since its inception in 2010, INSLA has become a reputable biennial conference that gathers scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to deliberate on contemporary issues relating to Syariah, law, and society.
The DSL Proceedings aim to integrate both naqli (revealed) and ‘aqli (rational) knowledge, highlighting their relevance in addressing global and local challenges in law, governance, and social development.
Specific Aims
DSL Proceedings seek to:

Provide a reputable publication avenue for high-quality conference papers in the areas of Syariah, law, and Islamic studies.
