DANA KHAIRAT KEMATIAN (DKK) DALAM EKOSISTEM KEWANGAN SOSIAL HALAL DI MASJID KG PARIT MUHAMMAD, PARIT SULONG BATU PAHAT JOHOR: KONSEP DAN APLIKASI

DEATH KHAIRAT FUND IN HALAL SOCIAL FINANCIAL ECOSYSTEM IN MASJID KG PARIT MUHAMMAD, PARIT SULONG BATU PAHAT JOHOR: CONCEPT AND APPLICATION

Abstract

The death khairat fund (DKF) is a necessity in the lives of Muslims today, because it is related to the cost of funeral management. DKF to provide early preparation for members when facing death. Therefore, there needs to be a conceptual and application study to see the position according to sharia. Even DKF is also a halal social financial ecosystem that needs to be linked to each other to coordinate the ecosystem. In practice, this DKF is essential for members involved in death khairat association. The mosque kg Parit Muhammad, Parit Sulong, Batu Pahat Johor is one of the mosques that carry out death khairat management needs to be studied in depth to see the concept and application. The objective of this study is to reveal the concept and application of the DKF categorized in the halal social financial ecosystem to the members. The study used qualitative methods through the literature review approach and structured interviews. Next will be analyzed based on the collected data. The results of this study found that the concept of gotong royong/taawun is the basis of the model in the DKF through the collection of fund contributions every Friday at the mosque kg parit Muhammad. The implication of this DKF concept and application shows the halal social financial ecosystem to be a basic system in the DKF. The members of the death khairat get social guarantee in financing the cost of the burial of the body.

Abstrak

Tabung dana khairat kematian (DKK) merupakan keperluan kehidupan umat Islam semasa, kerana ianya berkaitan kos pengurusan jenazah. DKK untuk memberi persediaan awal bagi para ahli ketika menghadapi kematian. Oleh itu, perlu wujud kajian secara konsep dan aplikasi bagi melihat kedudukan menurut syariah. Bahkan DKK juga merupakan ekosistem kewangan sosial halal yang perlu dikaitkan antara satu sama lain bagi menyelaraskan ekosistem. Secara amalan, DKK ini amat diperlukan para ahli yang terlibat dalam badan khairat kematian. Masjid kg Parit Muhammad, Parit Sulong Batu Pahat Johor merupakan salah satu masjid yang menjalankan pengurusan khairat kematian perlu dikaji secara mendalam bagi melihat konsep dan aplikasi. Objektif kajian ini mendedahkan konsep dan aplikasi tabung DKK yang dikategorikan dalam ekosistem kewangan sosial halal kepada para ahli. Kajian menggunakan metod kualitatif melalui pendekatan kajian kepustakaan dan temubual berstruktur. Seterusnya akan dianalisis berdasarkan kepada data yang terkumpul. Hasil kajian ini mendapati bahawa konsep gotong royong/taawun merupakan asas model dalam tabung DKK melalui kutipan sumbangan tabung setiap hari jumat di masjid kg Parit Muhammad. Implikasinya konsep dan aplikasi DKK ini menunjukkan kepada ekosistem kewangan sosial halal menjadi sistem asasi dalam tabung DKK. Para ahli khairat kematian mendapat jaminan sosial dalam membiayai kosn pengebumian jenazah.
