PERSEPSI MAHASISWA SYARIAH TENTANG KHILAFAH DI PERGURUAN TINGGI KEAGAMAAN ISLAM JAWA TENGAH INDONESIA

Abstract

This study purposes to measure the Sharia students’ perceptions about the caliph on the components of the state, encompassing the nature of daulah, the functions of daulah, the process of establishing and appointing the caliph, the power and sovereignty of the caliph's daulah, the form of daulah, the system of government and the constitution for non-Muslim daulah citizens. The research locations were at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, UIN Salatiga and Mambaul Ulum Islamic Institute of Surakarta, involving 233 respondents from 5 study programs namely Islamic criminal law study program, constitutional law, Sharia economic law, zakat and waqf management and Islamic family law. The data collection technique used a questionnaire and the measurement results data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results indicate that of the seven aspects measured, Islamic students have good perceptions of six aspects, namely the nature of the caliph, the purpose of the caliph, the process of establishing the caliph, the power and sovereignty of the caliph state, the system of government and the constitution of the caliph for non-Muslims, meaning that the majority of shariah students agree with the concept of the caliphate from An Nabhani's perspective. However, regarding the aspect of the form of the state in Islamic government, Sharia students have a poor perception, meaning that the majority of Sharia students disagree with the form of a unitary state from An Nabhani's perspective.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur persepsi mahasiswa Syariah tentang khilafah pada komponen- komponen negara yaitu hakekat daulah, fungsi daulah, proses pendirian dan pengangkatan khalifah, kekuasaan dan kedaulatan daulah khilafah, bentuk daulah, sistem pemerintahan dan konstitusi bagi warga daulah yang non muslim. Lokasi penelitian di UIN Raden Mas said Surakarta, UIN Salatiga dan Institut Islam Mambaul Ulum Surakarta, dengan melibatkan 233 responden dari 5 program studi yaitu prodi hukum pidana islam, hukum tatanegara, hukum ekonomi Syariah, manajemen zakat dan wakaf dan hukum keluarga Islam. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan data hasil pengukuran dianalisis dengan statistic deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari tujuh aspek yang diukur, mahasiswa Syariah memiliki persepsi yang bagus pada enam aspek yaitu hakekat khilafah, tujuan khilafah, proses pendirian khilafah, kekuasaan dan kedaulatan negara hilafah, system pemerintah dan konstitusi khilafah bagi non muslim, artinya mahasiswa Syariah mayoritas setuju dan sepakat dengan konsep khilafah perpespektif An Nabhani. Namun pada aspek bentuk negara dalam pemerintahan islam mahasiswa Syariah memiliki persepsi yang kurang bagus, artinya mayoritas mahasiswa Syariah kurang sepakat dan tidak setuju dengan bentuk negara kesatuan perspektif An Nabhani.
