ETOS KERJA PENGUSAHA SANTRI DI YOGYAKARTA, INDONESIA

Studies related to work ethic among santri are important studies, especially in terms of the life behavior of santri which shape the religious knowledge acquired while in Islamic boarding schools. This study shows that the Islamic work ethic among santri entrepreneurs has an important value as a medium for forming a positive mentality for business people. The Islamic work ethic also encourages the creation of competent business people in their fields. In addition, the religious knowledge possessed by Yogyakarta santri entrepreneurs has an influence in shaping the work ethic of the santri in Yogyakarta. Knowledge of santri entrepreneur training is obtained through two models, namely through teaching in Islamic boarding schools, and through interaction between santri entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, the operationalization of the Islamic work ethic in the business governance of Yogyakarta santri entrepreneurs is realized in several ways such as work arrangements, spatial planning and routine habits in the workplace.
Abstrak
Kajian terkait etos kerja di kalangan santri merupakan kajian yang penting, terutama dalam hal perilaku hidup santri yang dibentuk pengetahuan keagaaman yang diperoleh selama di pesantren. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa Etos kerja Islam di kalangan pengusaha santri memiliki nilai penting sebagai media untuk membentuk mental positif bagi pelaku bisnis. Etos kerja Islam juga mendorong terciptanya pelaku bisnis yang kompeten di bidangnya. Di samping itu pengetahuan keagamaan yang dimiliki pengusaha santri Yogyakarta memiliki pengaruh dalam membentuk etos kerja kaum santri di Yogyakarta. Pengetahuan keagamaan pengusaha santri diperoleh melalui dua model, yaitu melaui ajaran di pesantren, dan melalui interaksi antar pengusaha santri. Sedangkan operasionalisasi etos kerja Islam dalam tata kelola bisnis pengusaha santri yogyakarta diwujudkan dalam beberapa cara seperti pengaturan kerja, tata ruang dan pembiasaan rutin di tempat kerja.
