SALAM Digest: Syariah and Law Undergraduate Symposium is an academic publication produced annually by the esteemed Faculty of Syariah and Law (FSU) at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). Serving as a premier intellectual platform since 2018, it is dedicated to disseminating the naqli and 'aqli colloquies emerging from the undergraduate symposium at the national level. To enhance its global visibility and recognition, SALAM Digest is now accessible online through the Open Journal Systems (OJS).

As an indispensable source of knowledge, SALAM Digest is designed for academics, regulators, researchers, and experts within the field of Syariah and Law. The publication maintains an unwavering dedication to fostering open and critical dialogue by actively seeking scholarly papers from diverse disciplines. We encourage the application of varied methodologies, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive perspective that contributes to the global discourse on Syariah and legal studies.

SALAM Digest accepts original contributions that explore various facets of Syariah and Law. Submissions are welcomed in English, Malay, or Arabic, provided they have not been previously published or are being considered by other publishers. To maintain the highest academic standards, each manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer-review process based on the recommendations of expert reviewers.

Authors are strictly required to adhere to the publication’s manuscript preparation guidelines. Please note that submissions failing to comply with the specified formatting requirements or guidelines will be rejected by the editorial team before entering the formal review process. Only manuscripts of the highest quality and correct formatting will be considered for publication.

More than just a collection of papers, SALAM Digest is a scholarly community that fosters the exchange of knowledge and enriches academic discourse. It accommodates various forms of scholarly work, including research articles and academic commentaries, which provide critical insights into the evolving landscape of the Syariah and legal systems.

All manuscripts and correspondence should be directed to the Editor-in-Chief through our online submission system. By transitioning to a digital platform, SALAM Digest ensures that the intellectual contributions of its authors are preserved and made accessible to the international scholarly community.
