Aims and Scopes
Syariah and Law Discourse (DSL) Conference Proceedings serves as a platform to disseminate scholarly works presented in national and international conferences organised by the Faculty of Syariah and Law, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (FSU, USIM). It aims to integrate both naqli (revealed) and ‘aqli (rational) knowledge, highlighting their role in addressing contemporary challenges in law, society, and governance.
The proceedings cover a wide spectrum of research areas, including but not limited to:
DSL Conference Proceedings’ specific aims are to:
- Provide a reputable academic forum for publishing high-quality papers from conferences and seminars in the fields of Syariah, law, and Islamic studies.
- Foster intellectual discourse that integrates theoretical and empirical perspectives to address contemporary legal and societal issues.
- Encourage cross-disciplinary engagement among scholars, practitioners, and policymakers at the local, regional, and global levels.
- Disseminate innovative research that reflects the synergy between naqli and ‘aqli knowledge within the domain of Syariah and law.
